While historical leaders are predominantly male, the game includes female leaders (e.g., Catherine de' Medici, Victoria) who interact with each other and with male leaders on geopolitical matters. Conversations focus on diplomacy, trade, and war, not men.

Discussing the game can transform passive play into active learning, reinforcing critical thinking and historical understanding. By asking about their strategies, you encourage metacognition and planning skills. This interaction also provides an opportunity to discuss the simplified nature of historical representation in games versus complex real-world history.
